California State University Long Beach Department of Dance
has many different genres of dance classes.
The CSULB Dance Department has a range of beginner to Intermediate
class for students who are not, currently enrolled into the dance program or
are just interested in dancing for fun.
One of the most popular genres of dance in the department is
jazz.
CSULB Senior Student, Chemical Engineering major Katherine Balik is taking an intermediate Jazz
class this semester after taking Beginner jazz last semester.
Balik said “I used to dance
when I was younger and then I stopped, but then in community college I started
up again and now I’m here as a transfer student at CSULB taking a jazz class
and it is really fun!”
