In Collaboration: Bill T. Jones and CSULB Department of Dance

Carpenter Performing Arts Center

In Collaboration Bill T. Jones and The CSULB Department of Dance Saturday Night at 8:00p.m was stunning.
The First half of the show was comprised of three world premiere dances by the CSULB Department of Dance which were: Handel Dances, Proxima and Clearing the Sensation of Darkness.

Costumes were vibrantly colored with bright pink, blues, oranges and greens. Even with colors of black, browns and grays the dancers still exploded with beautiful movements, they were truly letting you know that you came here to see a great show!

After the 15 min Intermission, came Act II which was, Mercy and The Artificial Nigger (2003) and Mercy 10x8 On A Circle (2003) both choreographed by Bill T. Jones.

Act II Mr. Jones addresses the issues of racism and grace, the dancing was flawless.
